Based out of Syracuse, New York, but also performing in the Hudson Valley, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, ACME provides interactive comedies in a murder mystery format, usually as a dinner theatre. 

Our shows play on two levels: they are extremely funny and fun to watch but there is also a very real mystery which each audience member gets the chance to solve.  At every seat is a program telling you where you are, when you are, and who you are.  It also tells you about the characters you will be meeting.  Additionally, each table is given a Clue and encouraged to exchange this information with other tables in an effort to put together the most comprehensive list so as to better solve the mystery.  At the end of each performance is a brief awards ceremony where certificates of achievement are presented for the best, and worst, guesses. 

Because our shows are interactive there is no stage, set, or specialty lighting.  The audience members are a big part of the show and the characters move among them, first in an improvisational mingle at each table, then in a scripted portion during which the audience will continue to be given opportunities to be part of the action and comedy.

Most of our shows are themed which provides audience members the opportunity to arrive in costume (or not).  For private shows and fundraisers, it gives the organizers a chance to decorate the room and theme the menu to make their event extra fun!

We write all of our own material to ensure quality and have created an extensive repertoire.  We have been entertaining audiences throughout the Northeast since 1997 and have given over 2,500 performances in venues big and small from mansions to restaurants, hotels to local halls, even boats and trains. We entertain at regular venues, semi-regular venues, annual events, and special occasions.
